Brand & Narrative Lead · Bloom Healthcare

Bloom's impact has outpaced your ability to tell the story. I've spent my career taking what's real and making it resonate — across industries, audiences, and formats that don't make storytelling easy.

Where the role meets the work

Your story is bigger than your ability to tell it consistently

At Contrast Video Production, I developed brand messaging and storytelling frameworks across medical, financial, and consumer industries — each with its own complexity, its own audience, its own version of 'hard to explain simply.' I didn't just write copy. I built the frameworks that made consistent storytelling possible across accounts, team members, and channels. Bloom needs that same infrastructure for a story that's already compelling — it just needs someone to build the system for telling it.

Complex concepts need to become human stories, not marketing speak

With Our Healing Village, I take complex psychological and relational concepts — things therapists spend years studying — and translate them into content that people not only understand but feel. The community I built there grew because the storytelling was real, not polished. Bloom's clinical outcomes and ACO performance are extraordinary. The challenge isn't having a story worth telling. It's finding someone who can make 'Triple Aim performance' feel like something a patient's family actually cares about. That translation is what I do.

You need someone who can build a brand function, not just fill a role

At Honey Do Heroes, I built the entire brand from nothing — voice, narrative, positioning, logo, visual identity, marketing strategy. It wasn't a rebrand. It was a first brand. At Pasternak & Co., I built a brand so strong that 85% of my clients came from referrals and word of mouth alone. This role at Bloom isn't about maintaining something. It's about building the marketing and communications function that matches the quality of care you're already delivering. That's the kind of work I'm built for.

External creative partners need a conductor who speaks their language

At Contrast, I coordinated teams of videographers, editors, and creatives across multiple concurrent accounts — managing timelines, quality, and brand consistency without micromanaging the talent. But here's what most brand leads can't say: I'm also a working photographer and videographer. I've been behind the camera for over a decade. When I'm coordinating external creative partners, I'm not just managing logistics. I understand the craft, which means I can push for better work and know exactly what 'better' looks like.

Why here

Bloom's culture is grounded in Integrity, Commitment, Innovation, and Excellence — and I recognize those because they're the values my clients would use to describe working with me. Every business I've built has run on trust, on showing up with quality even when no one's watching, and on the belief that how you tell someone's story matters as much as the story itself. Bloom is doing work that changes how patients experience the end of their lives. That story deserves someone who treats it with the gravity it carries.

You said this role exists because Bloom's impact has outpaced your ability to tell the story. That's the exact problem I've solved in every role I've held — taking something real and making sure the right people understand why it matters. I'd be honored to build that function for Bloom.
